Owner, Eric Pomerantz, started filming weddings in 1999 after answering an ad in the paper for freelance video work. After taking some time off to work on actual film productions "I got to meet John Stamos, haha", Eric returned to freelance wedding work. "The issue I found with working at other companies was there was no consistency. People loved my work, but other shooters were terrible, and the company took no time to train them."

Eric started Creative Unlimited, slowly building up on referrals by being fun to work with and producing truly film like work. "I saw how others were filming, and editing, and I felt it was too obtrusive, they had bright lights, huge scaffolding tripods rolling around taking up half the dance floor, and the edits were boring and super cheesy. I just knew I could make something better, something people would actually love watching".

Eric's own work stems from his experience in filmmaking and love for films and television. "I love a good engaging story. Movies were a big part of my childhood, my dad used to take us to the theater on weekends, it was always fun. I would really get into the films, even the bad ones sometimes, haha. I knew I wanted to do something in that field, but it seemed like a pipe dream, so I actually have a Bachelor's in Psychology. Helps to deal with crazy brides, haha ;) "

Now I get to make these very personal stories for my brides and grooms. It's a time capsule of their day. I never understand why people would skimp on the video, but I realize it's because of those guys that are still out there making cheesy videos, getting in people's faces. I just want to tell bride's, we're not like that, you'll love working with us, you'll truly love your video."

Creative Unlimited was officially formed in 2004 as a professional video production company. We are composed of a small staff of talented cinematographers and editors, photographers and designers, each extensively trained in our unique creative style. "The training is important to me, because I want our clients to be thrilled, and the work to be consistently awesome and creative.
