The Imperia in Somerset Wedding of Caitlin and Matt

We filmed Caitlin’s brother Eric’s wedding a year before, and they loved the video, so as soon as she and Matt were engaged they contacted us. We started with them each getting ready. Then they met at the Imperia for family and bridal party shots before the ceremony. The ceremony was outdoors in the back of the Imperia decorated nicely with flowers under a beautiful chuppah. It was a mixed christian/jewish ceremony. It was followed the only way it could be with an awesome reception featuring the Smokin’ Section Band. The Imperia is just around the corner from our office. The Neshanic Valley Golf Course Wedding of Johnna and Michael

Johnna and Michael are a sweet couple who love the movie “UP”, so as his gift to Johnna, Michael purchased a scrapbook like the one in the movie for them to begin their adventure together. Very cool. I started with Johnna and the girls in Hillsborough NJ at a Salon while she finished up her hair and makeup. Rob was with Michael and the guys who were working on everything to do with tuxes as they got dressed. Back at Johnna’s parents house she got ready to get dressed, but not before we got some amazing shots of the dress in their backyard. Perhaps one of my favorite shots was of the dress with deer in the background grazing in the field, Awesome!

Then it was off to the ceremony at St. Paul’s Church in Princeton NJ. I love when I capture a great reaction from the groom as his bride comes down the aisle, and Michael was definitely emotional. After the ceremony we walked through Princeton University for some great family and bridal party shots, plus some with the bride and groom. One very funny moment was when a group of Japanese tourists (I kid you not) became enamored with our couple and were taking pictures like paparazzi. The oohs and ahhs as Johnna and Michael kissed must have made them feel like celebrities for a moment.

At the Neshanic Valley Golf Course we finished up some family shots, got some of grandparents, more of bridal party, and more of the couple before enjoying the cocktail hour. They had a band for the reception and they got the party going. It was an amazing night for a very happy couple. Check out their highlights below:

The Oyster Point Hotel Wedding of Amanda and Michael

So excited to share this special wedding day with Amanda and Michael. We captured their engagement party and got to know the couple a little better, and they are a blast. On their wedding day I started with Amanda at her parents home in Jamesburg. I recognized their house by the “Fresh Chicken eggs for sale” sign I had passed man times, and I finally go to see the chickens, not only outside, but the chicken decorations everywhere in the house, haha. I love little details like that. Rob was with Michael and the guys while they got ready at his apartment. The ceremony was at St. James the Less Church in Jamesburg NJ. Then it was off to the Oyster Point Hotel for some great shots together, and a fun reception. An awesome party, highlighted by this sweet and fun couple. When Michael came out in a boxing robe to remove the garter I knew he was my kind of goofball, haha. Check out their highlights below.

The Central Park NY Wedding of Jessica Rae and Philip

We often hear from clients who have planned lavish affairs about how they’re on a “budget”. This is a couple that was REALLY on a budget, and still they booked our services because they knew it was a special day. I think the results prove it was a wise decision 😉 Jessica and Philip had a very very small wedding planned. She just wanted her ceremony covered, because the reception was going to be an intimate sit down dinner with some close friends and family. The awesome unique part was the ceremony was going to be at Bethesda Terrace in Central Park NY, right under the terrace by the big fountain. What a gorgeous location. We worked out a customized 2 cam package, because all weddings benefit from 2 cam coverage but truly short small ceremonies REALLY come out better with the extra coverage of reactions etc. In a location with a lot of unknowns, and random people milling about, it was the best choice. Dave and I started with Jessica getting ready at her mom’s house. Then we drove into the city to capture Philip and his parents (no bridal party), and the ceremony. The ceremony was a very intimate gathering under the Terrace with family and friends standing and listening. In addition there were just strangers watching, but truly the world felt smaller for those few moments. It was beautiful. Quickly after the ceremony we got some great shots of the couple around that area. In addition to the raw footage, check out the complete video below that they received below. One of my favorite highlights.
