We’ve Moved to a New Address!!!

For the past 10 years our office has been located at 100 Franklin Square Dr, in Somerset NJ. It’s been a great space to work, and meet potential clients, and a very easy to find location. However, since the birth of my first son Owen (now 2 and half), and especially now with the 2nd Dylan (now 2 months old) I’ve wanted to find something closer to my home. I also wanted a more inviting space to meet clients, and even perhaps something that could also function as a studio space for portraits and more.

I’m happy to announce we’ve moved, and beginning December 1st, 2014 will be located in Downtown Freehold at 7 Broadway Suite 2, Freehold NJ 07728. We are lucky to share the building with Mission Dance, an awesome wedding band whom we’ve had the pleasure of working with several times in the past. We hope to grow our business even further in our new space. It’s beautiful, charming, and located in a great area with lots of nice restaurants. Plus it is minutes from the Freehold Mall. Make a night of it when you come in to meet 😉

We hope you’ll visit us in the new space soon, and look forward to meeting great new clients there for many years. Please contact Eric soon at 732-416-9191 or via our Contact Page to set up an appointment and check out our great new space and our amazing work. It’s a big move from Somerset County to Monmouth county, but one we hope will lead to great things.

***Can’t make it to Freehold?? No problem. Ask about an online appointment or setting up a meeting at a more convenient location for you. Otherwise remember, you only have to come to us once, then we come to you for your event 🙂

LBI Engagement Shoot

Nina and Andrew booked us for their wedding in August 2013, plus added an engagement shoot. They wanted to do it by his place down in Long Beach Island NJ, right by the beach. What a beautiful location!! Andrew informed me not to worry about breaking any rules because he was the Governor, haha, so we were off to a great start.

We got some romantic shots on the beach, and thanks to her wedding planner (and friend) we even had some great props like huge balloons, and a picnic area. We stopped at the local amusement center for a few more fun shots before the day was through. Such a fun and romantic couple. Check out a short sample from their shoot below.

The Bridgewater Manor Wedding of Anna and Juan

Anna and Juan are definitely a unique couple. This was Juan’s 2nd marriage, and from speaking with him a few times I could tell he learned a lot from mistakes made in his first marriage, and I could tell he was going to go above and beyond for Anna, including giving her a beautiful wedding. So, they booked us for Photography as well as videography. At first they just got 1 cam coverage but upgraded to 2 cam video when we got closer to the wedding for better coverage. They stuck with 1 photographer, and for their smaller wedding it was more than enough. Since Juan wasn’t interested in having a videographer with him getting ready, we all started with Anna at their home.

She was in excellent spirits and the girls were in full swing finishing up hair and makeup when we arrived. One of my favorite shots was the candy land characters holding their wedding bands.

The Ceremony was St. Francis Episcopal Church in Dunellen NJ, featuring a harpist Anna chose, and the reception followed at the Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater NJ, with a live mariachi band during cocktail hour and sombreros gallore including as centerpieces to celebrate Juan’s Mexican heritage. Everyone had an awesome time and you can see the videos and photos below.

We created this short trailer for them 2 weeks after the wedding:

The Madison Hotel Wedding of Kristina and Matt

Kristina and Matt were such a joy on their wedding day. They booked us for 1 wedding photographer plus 2 wedding videographers. Steve and Dave started with Kristina and the girls, while Rob started with Matt and the guys capturing everyone getting ready. The couple did their first reveal in front of their home, before heading to downtown Cranford NJ by the train station for some fun shots with the bridal party and their families.

It was a beautiful church ceremony, followed by a blast of a reception at the Madison Hotel in Morristown NJ.

Check out their wedding highlights here:

What a short sample of awesome photos from their day:

***Update 9/2014. I recently had the chance to catch up with Kristina and Matt while photographing them with their 1 year old son. They STILL love the photos and video, and it was so amazing to see them now as happy parents. Check out a few photos here from that shoot:

The Mayfair Farms Wedding of Cathy and Brian

Cathy and Brian were referred to me by a mutual friend. They booked us for videography and photography and got 2 camera coverage for both, which was SO helpful because of the setup of the day. We started at The Westin Hotel in Morristown NJ, where Cathy and Brian were getting ready with the bridal party. The ceremony was in NYC at St Patrick’s Cathedral, which was unfortunately under construction so the outside was all scaffolding. It was an interesting experience because there were tourists everywhere, up the sides of the church, taking photos of everything.

After the ceremony we stopped in Times Square for some great shots with the bridal party. We asked the guys to clear some space on those red steps, and thankfully the crowd was cooperative. Again this was one reason it was so helpful to have more shooters, because while we were doing that, the 2nd videographer was grabbing some cool shots of times square, and the 2nd photographer was kind enough to retrieve my car and await our call so we could take off after the bridal party to the reception.

Before we got to the reception we made one more stop at Eagle Rock Reservation by the Highlawn Pavillion, for a couple more bridal party shots, and shots of Cathy and Brian together. Then it was off to the reception which was held at Mayfair Farms in West Orange NJ. Everyone had a great time and we got plenty of awesome dance footage. Be sure to check out their Highlights below, and you can also see their album design.
