Drunk Love Story – Nicole and Ed

Drunk Love Story – Nicole and Ed

I met with Nicole over lunch to talk about her wedding and her history with her fiance Ed. We decided to do a drunk love story, a spoof on Drunk History. A couple of glasses of wine, and some alcohol, and I got quite the animated tale on the night I interviewed them at their home. Once the story was edited, we met up again to film the Lip Sync scenes at Fairleigh Dickinson where they met, as well as other locations. They got friends to play themselves (and other friends, who were not available), and happily shared it with guests at their Reception at the Spring Lake Manor in Spring Lake NJ.

Crystal Point Yacht Club Wedding of Nicole and Robert

Highlights from Nicole and Robert’s Wedding at The Crystal Point Yacht Club:

Nicole and Robert were referred to us by their friends Christina and Alex, whose wedding we filmed shortly before theirs, and who were in the bridal party. Nicole and Robert almost went without videography, but Christina convinced them to get it just a few weeks before the wedding.

I started out with Nicole and the girls getting ready at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lakewood. One she was dressed she had a very sweet first look with her dad. Then it was off to the Crystal Point Yacht Club to do a first look with her future husband Robert. Once we had him in a nice spot Nicole walked up for a beautiful reveal, followed by some great shots of the happy couple together along with bridal party.

Then it was time for the ceremony at Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Point Pleasant Beach. Nicole sang a special song to her groom acapella, and everyone was blown away by her beautiful voice. We used the song she sang as part of the highlights, and it worked so nicely combined with some bits of the amazing speeches from their reception back at the Crystal Point Yacht Club.

I loved that we were able to align the best man talking about their grandparents 67 years of marriage, with the lyrics of the song talking about the very same thing. Kismet! The parent dances were fun especially once the music switched up and dad started stripping off his coat, haha. The rest of the night was just dancing, drinking, and full on partying. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple.

The Highlawn Pavilion Wedding of Alaina and Ryan

NJ Wedding Video Highlights from Alaina and Ryan’s day at The Highlawn Pavilion:

Alaina and Ryan met at a friend’s party, and soon became inseparable. They gave each other the cute nickname of Rice and Bean. Ryan was bean because he cooked a lot of beans when they first started dating, haha. They got ready at the Wilshire Grand Hotel where they did their first look, followed by some bridal party and family portraits at the Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange NJ. There’s a lovely view of the NYC skyline.

The outdoor ceremony was short and sweet and was followed by a fun daytime reception in the upstairs at the Highlawn, kicked off by a nicely choreographed dance by our couple, and some funny and moving speeches by the best man and maid of honor, as well as Alaina’s dad. It was a beautiful day for a very happy and sweet couple. Rice and Bean forever!

The Backyard Wedding of Erin and James

Watch the highlights here:

Check out the fun highlights below from Erin and James’ October Wedding in their backyard. I started with Erin getting ready at her home, where the reception would later be held under a tent in their back yard. We met up with James and the guys at Skylands Manor in Ringwood NJ for an emotional first look, and then some gorgeous and fantastical shots with the couple and their bridal party, which was her sister and his brothers. Then it was back to their home for a reception that was rocked out none other than Brian Kirk and the Jirks, a Jersey Shore Favorite. A bit of a Disney theme, some cool shots with a classic car, plus a little cake face smashing, made this a magical evening for a great couple. Smiles ear to ear 😉

We’ve Moved to a New Address!!!

For the past 10 years our office has been located at 100 Franklin Square Dr, in Somerset NJ. It’s been a great space to work, and meet potential clients, and a very easy to find location. However, since the birth of my first son Owen (now 2 and half), and especially now with the 2nd Dylan (now 2 months old) I’ve wanted to find something closer to my home. I also wanted a more inviting space to meet clients, and even perhaps something that could also function as a studio space for portraits and more.

I’m happy to announce we’ve moved, and beginning December 1st, 2014 will be located in Downtown Freehold at 7 Broadway Suite 2, Freehold NJ 07728. We are lucky to share the building with Mission Dance, an awesome wedding band whom we’ve had the pleasure of working with several times in the past. We hope to grow our business even further in our new space. It’s beautiful, charming, and located in a great area with lots of nice restaurants. Plus it is minutes from the Freehold Mall. Make a night of it when you come in to meet 😉

We hope you’ll visit us in the new space soon, and look forward to meeting great new clients there for many years. Please contact Eric soon at 732-416-9191 or via our Contact Page to set up an appointment and check out our great new space and our amazing work. It’s a big move from Somerset County to Monmouth county, but one we hope will lead to great things.

***Can’t make it to Freehold?? No problem. Ask about an online appointment or setting up a meeting at a more convenient location for you. Otherwise remember, you only have to come to us once, then we come to you for your event 🙂
