The Valley Crest Farm Wedding of Meredith and Kenneth

Watch their gorgeous highlights here:

Meredith and Kenneth’s day started with coverage of them getting ready at the Courtyard Marriot in Lebanon NJ, where they saw each other for the first time that day. Then it was off to Downtown Clinton by the Red Mill Museum for some great shots with the bridal party and the couple on the Bridge, and by this beautiful and lush Rock wall. This was followed by a couple stops at Valley Crest Farm in Lebanon NJ where the ceremony and reception would be held. First at a white barn near a silo, and then on the road to the farm for some woodsy shots, and finally on the farm itself.

There was a beautiful pond, and a huge tree where the ceremony was held, plus the reception area had a rustic farmer’s market feel to it. For the ceremony the guests were invited to make their own dried herbs and flowers mixture in a paper cone which they tossed at the bride and groom at the end. Each herb and flower represented something important to marriage, like lavendar for kindness, and roses for love, and sage for wisdom, and oregano for patience.

After the ceremony guests enjoyed popcorn and drinks, including some fruity iced teas, before making their way uphill to the reception. At the reception there was a cigar bar, and some games set up for guests to enjoy, like the bean bag toss. This was a non-traditional reception, and so there were no intro, no first dance, no parent dances, and no cake cutting. There were toasts however, which were all great. Listen to what the dad says, it’s very sweet, and the maid of honor’s rap was funny. We’re filming her wedding this May!!

They wanted to be very non-traditional, so there was no first dance, no parent dances, no cake cutting, etc. I was able to capture a shot of Meredith dancing with her dad at one point, although not a slow song, but unfortunately I never got a shot of Ken with his mom. If you think you might cherish those moments, or that your parents would, don’t be afraid to be traditional, at least for a few minutes 😉

It was an absolutely gorgeous day with lots of unique and creative touches throughout, and I’m thrilled they loved the highlights. I even got a note from her dad who said it was “Super Fantastic”. Congrats again Meredith and Kenneth!!

Here’s her review on WeddingWire

“Frankly, I wasn’t interested in videography for our wedding. It was something my mother wanted to have, so I did some quick searching on WeddingWire and booked with Eric because he was local, his prices fit my budget, and I really couldn’t be bothered with another decision at that point. Man, did I luck out! Our wedding highlight video is spectacular, and truly captures the best parts of the day. Our parents loved getting their blu-ray copies as their own keepsakes, too. What’s more, Eric listened to my comments on what I liked (and didn’t like) about other highlight videos and made sure to incorporate (or eliminate) elements based on my preferences. We have such a special keepsake from our day, which we honestly watch ALL THE TIME. We’ve gotten so, so many compliments, and we also have something like eight hours of raw footage we can always have re-edited into a longer video down the line if we like. Let this be a lesson– listen to your mother, she usually knows best, and hire Creative Unlimited for your videography needs.” – Meredith

Note: They really only got about 4 hours of footage. If you got 8 you would blow your brains out, haha.

The Stroudsmoor Country Inn Wedding of Amanda and Jordan

Watch this Game of Thrones inspired highlights:

Amanda and Jordan’s day was all at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn in Stroudsburg PA. This couple literally got engaged on the Iron Throne from the popular HBO serious The Game of Thrones, and it happened to be captured by a web news show. Amanda came to me shortly before the wedding reconsidering videography, and once she saw our work they booked our Highlights Only Package (in which they got the highlights below, PLUS the raw footage on DVD, about 3-4 hours of footage from the whole day).

They both got ready on location, and did their first reveal followed by some bridal party portraits. The ceremony was in the beautiful woods performed by her brother, and followed by a fun reception with some crazy dancers. We included some footage from the proposal, and incorporated some elements from their favorite show Game Of Thrones for a moving and just plain cool highlights. Ready just in time for Winter 😉 Congrats guys on an awesome day!

The Black Bass Hotel Wedding of Kelly and Robert

Kelly contacted me about 2 months before her wedding after deciding she wanted it captured on video. To keep costs down they just wanted Raw footage, but we’re lucky they upgraded to a highlights edit a few months later because we now have this awesome wedding video highlights to share. As I was at another event this was captured by my shooter Pete, and he did a beautiful job. Kelly wrote to say it was beyond what she expected, and that everyone LOVES it!

Their day was all at the Black Bass Hotel in Lumberville, PA. Kelly got ready at the hotel, and shared how she and Robert met on plentyoffish.com, and how Robert knew on their first date she was the one! She also read some of the VERY sweet love notes Robert wrote on the bottom of her shoes. This was the 2nd marriage for them both, and they did it in style with a lovely outdoor ceremony, and a vintage band for the reception. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple.

Mario and Tina – High School Sweethearts

Mario and Tina booked us to capture their wedding, and also to capture their story and entertain their guests. This is a short film we created and showed at Mario and Tina’s Wedding Reception on July 22nd, at Nanina’s in the Park. It stars the couple talking about their relationship, with some funny flashbacks. They met in High School and we thought a he said/she said version of the start of their romance would be pretty funny. Check out the short, and definitely contact Creative Unlimited if you’re looking for amazing wedding day coverage, and something unique for your reception 😉

Digital Shorts and Love Stories – Creative Wedding Videographer

I just wanted to post some of our past Digital Shorts here. So many fun ones with our clients, and it’s definitely something you might want to consider for your day. It can be anything you like, a story about how you met, a music video with you guys lip syncing, a spoof of tv or movies you like, or an original short film. Definitely fun for you and for your guests, and it will have them talking for months about your amazing movie. It can be romantic, funny, musical, or a little of everything.

Rachel and Danny shared their story about how they came together in their condo complex and fell in love. This one is sweet and sentimental. A Love Story 😉

Jessica and Michael started it all with their all inclusive short wedding film. They were a real creative couple and definitely took some of the ideas we offered and ran with it. This is just part of their video, featuring some hilarious tv and film spoofs. Check it out:

Tatiana and Apollo came to us from their friends Tannia (Tatiana’s cousin) and Michael. They loved Tannia and Michael’s short so much they wanted to do one of their own. Apollo is hilarious, and they were a fun couple to film. This is just part of the whole video featuring the sweet story of how they met on Myspace, and Apollo getting ready for their first date.

Melanie and Kyle were actually brought to us by Kyle’s dad, a true film enthusiast. Kyle is a character, and we hit it off so well, Melanie questioned whether we should be the ones getting married, haha. It was a fun day of filming. This story is done in a kind of “Lost” flashback sort of way, on the night Kyle was to propose we flash back to everything from their first meeting to the day Kyle bought the ring. We filmed in the Princeton area and at the actual restaurant (with the actual waiter) where Kyle popped the question. It’s definitely goofy, a little bit of corn and cheese, but in all the right places 😉
